It’s easy to get so caught up in the daily grind that spending time enjoying life is pushed to the backburner. But it doesn’t have to be this way! Over the next few weeks, we’re highlighting places throughout Pensacola where you can find weekly karaoke nights, open mics, trivia and live music. First up is a handful of recurring events happening every Thursday.
Thursday Nights at The Roundup
The new location of the old RoundUp has really upped their game with a bigger space, pool tables and a great patio for the warmer months. The bar is super comfortable with a lot of different places to sit and a nice crowd that mixes well. They also have a large selection of tv’s to catch the latest sports games and the music videos play on multiple screens throughout the bar so you can dance if you want to. The Roundup is also the best gay bar in town and they host a lot of special events e.g. Karaoke night, Leather night etc.
A karaoke night is a fun way to spend time with friends and family. You don’t have to be a professional singer to enjoy karaoke, and it’s always a good idea to drink responsibly when you’re spending time with friends! Here are some places in pensacola that regularly host karaoke nights:
Tuesday nights at O’Riley’s Uptown Tavern offer buy one get one domestic bottles and other great drink specials along with karaoke hosted by M&M Sound. Coastal County Brewing Co also has a weekly themed trivia and Name That Tune with $5 Crown and Drown from 4 p.m. – close.
Every Wednesday – Saturday night at the Seville Quarter you’ll find local variety bands that fill the room with their sounds and energy. Goat Lips has their legendary open-mic night Mondays and weekly karaoke nights, too! They even have a regular dueling pianos show, so you can jam with your buddies and enjoy the live entertainment.
