After a day spent soaking up the sun or trying out some of the area’s many watersports, you can wind down with a few drinks and a fun night out with friends at one of the Gulf Shores karaoke spots. From the famous Flora-Bama Lounge to the Tacky Jack’s 2 in Fort Morgan, you will find plenty of options to sing your heart out while on vacation in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
Located just minutes away from Historic Fort Morgan, Tacky Jacks is the locals’ favorite spot by the ocean. You will find a great menu of seafood, chicken and steak dishes as well as appetizers, salads and wraps, all served in a casual dining environment that is perfect for relaxing after a long day on the beach. The karaoke nights at Tacky Jacks start at 8pm and are held every Tuesday and Saturday. With a great happy hour that ends an hour before the singing starts, you can kill time by enjoying a few domestics or well drinks for $2.50 or $1 Coors Light draft.
The Pink Pony is another great choice for a night out in Gulf Shores. The bar has a huge selection of beer and wine as well as cocktails. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the karaoke is very fun. They even have a live band on weekends! You will want to stop by and try the seafood nachos (crawfish etouffee meets nachos). They are amazing! Try their Purple Hooter shots as well.
MudBugs Pub & Club is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. It has been operating for 20 years within Gulf Shores Parkway, a neighborhood that is primarily populated with restaurants and bars that cater to the area’s record-setting tourism. The city council will hold a special hearing Thursday to decide whether to renew the bar’s business license. The meeting is expected to include testimony from the Gulf Shores Police Department chronicling public safety issues at the late-night establishment.
